- Youth & Children | Vine Baptist Church | Sevenoaks
At VBC, we have a number of different activities and events for children of all ages. Youth & Children We are a church family that is proud to welcome people of all ages, and many families find a home with us. The following groups are aimed specifically at our under 18's. For more information, please contact our Children & Families Worker, Ally Leung. All those involved with our Youth and Children Ministries are regularly DBS Checked and fully Safeguarding Trained. Sundays: Each worship service starts with approximately 30 minutes of intergenerational worship where families can worship together. Children are actively encouraged to take part in worship and prayer, and we also have a play area set up in the main worship space for those who need freedom to move around. After this initial worship together time, there are then specific groups aimed at different ages: Launchpad (0-4yrs) Our youngest members are welcome to stay in the main worship space if they prefer, but we also have a dedicated creche room with a live link to the church if parents would rather take their children out. Blastoff (5-10yrs) Run by Ally, our Children & Families Worker, Blastoff is a chance for those in Primary School to engage with God and learn about the bible in a fun and safe environment in the Green Lounge and Sports Hall. There's lots of craft, story telling, video and games for everyone! Orbit (11-16yrs) Overseen by Cara, this is a chance twice a month for our young people to go deeper in their discipleship. There's discussion, application, fun and food shared in the upstairs Youth Room. On the weeks where there is no group running, we encourage our young people to stay into the main focus time and be part of the wider church. Pastor Andrew facilitates this by creating some sermon and doodle notes each week to aid engagement. During the Week: Little Feet For preschool children, babies and their grown-ups! We meet every Wednesday during term time, 9.30-11.30am. The whole church is opened up, so there's lots of space to run around, play with toys, eat snacks and enjoy our song and story time. No need to book, just turn up and register. There is a small donation requested for this group. Basecamp (7-11) Basecamp runs every other Friday evening, 5:30-7:00pm. We start with the usual games tables (pool, table tennis, air-hockey, table football, xbox, darts etc), before having a focus time and related craft or activity. The evening ends with large group games, and the tuck shop is open all evening! There is a small donation requested for this group. Summit (11-16) Summit runs every other Friday evening, 5:30-7:00pm. We start with food and games tables (pool, table tennis, air-hockey, table football, xbox, darts etc), before having a focus time. The evening ends with some large youth group games we all know and love! There is a small donation requested for this group.

- About The Vine Baptist Church
We are any Evangelical Baptist Church who adhere to the Evangelical Alliance basis of faith. All are welcome to join our service every Sunday starting at 10.30am. About Vine Baptist Church Vine Baptist Church was created in 1748 when a group of Christians moved from Bessels Green into Sevenoaks Town, founding Sevenoaks Baptists. In 1887, this group of Baptists moved from the High Street to the bottom of the Vine, building what is now Vine Baptist Church. We're still in the same place, but things have changed a lot since then! The building has undergone many renovations and updates, and we're now a modern church in the heart of Sevenoaks, made up of people from all walks of life, ages, backgrounds and ethnicities. We're part of the Baptist Union, and the South Eastern Baptist Association, and consider ourselves to be a theologically traditional church, with a contemporary feel and love for people. We celebrate communion twice a month, on the first and third Sunday's, and practice Believers Baptism. Whether you’re new to the area, haven’t been to church for a while, or are just interested in knowing more, we’d love to meet you! You’re welcome to drop in to our regular Sunday morning worship or Tuesday morning at our Wellbeing Centre. To download the latest AGM Report Pack, please click here:
