About Vine Baptist Church
Vine Baptist Church was created in 1748 when a group of Christians moved from Bessels Green into Sevenoaks Town, founding Sevenoaks Baptists. In 1887, this group of Baptists moved from the High Street to the bottom of the Vine, building what is now Vine Baptist Church.

We're still in the same place, but things have changed a lot since then! The building has undergone many renovations and updates, and we're now a modern church in the heart of Sevenoaks, made up of people from all walks of life, ages, backgrounds and ethnicities.

We're part of the Baptist Union, and the South Eastern Baptist Association, and consider ourselves to be a theologically traditional church, with a contemporary feel and love for people. We celebrate communion twice a month, on the first and third Sunday's, and practice Believers Baptism.
Whether you’re new to the area, haven’t been to church for a while, or are just interested in knowing more, we’d love to meet you! You’re welcome to drop in to our regular Sunday morning worship or Tuesday morning at our church cafe.
