Outside of church, Ally enjoys having more time to spend with her family having relocated to the UK, and the positive difference it's made to her family life.

Ally says: "I'm really excited to see the number of young people growing in our church - it's such a joy to watch them get involved and flourish in their faith."

Church Manager
Fiona Murray
Fiona has been at VBC for 27 years and has been working in the Church Office for 20 years, and it's safe to say that she helps keep everything running smoothly!
She has 2 sons and 5 wonderful grandchildren who bring her great joy.

Fiona finds it exciting showing new people around the lovely premises we have and sharing about how God is changing lives in this place.
Fiona enjoys singing, aquafit, listening to music and spending time with her grandchildren.

Church Secretary
Hazel Elliott
Hazel is the Church Secretary, responsible and involved in so much of what happens at VBC.
Hazel joined the church, along with her husband, in 2012. Together, they have two grown up children and two grandchildren and enjoy sharing family times with them.

Hazel says: "Having retired some 20 years ago, we are now able to fully engage with the varied life of VBC. It is exciting to see the growth in the congregation, especially the younger ones who regularly attend. I look forward to where God is leading us."

Church Treasurer
Martin Palmer
Martin is retired and married to Margaret with three grown up children. Martin and Margaret have been church members for nearly 20 years, and Martin has served in various practical and leadership roles, including Mission Secretary and Church Secretary.
Martin is currently our Church Treasurer, in charge of managing the Church finances.

Martin says "while a little restricted by health issues, I still enjoy a game of golf (and am still trying to get my handicap down!) I find it really encouraging to see the continued growth in VBC, and long to see the lasting effect as we grow together as the fellowship of God.

Safeguarding Trustee
Jennie Longthorne
Jennie heads up our Safeguarding Team, ensuring that VBC continues to be a safe place to be for everyone.

Jennie joined the church in 2010, after moving to Sevenoaks with her husband and two children. She works part time as a Speech and Language therapist, and is happiest when she's surrounded by her family...or with a good book and a rare moment of quiet!

Jennie says: "I'm excited to see our church family growing and in particular to see more young people worshipping at VBC".
