Vine Baptist Church cares about the future! Working in conjunction with Vine Evangelical Church we have a thriving youth and children’s work.
Our Children’s and Youth Work has it's own Ministry Leader, David Checkley, who holds responsibility for the oversight and co-ordination of all the church's work with children and young people.
Together with Vine Evangelical Church we employ a full time Youth Minister, Dave Garrett. Dave is a dynamic, gifted and popular leader who has been involved in youth work for many years and leads the young people’s work at Vine Baptist and Vine Evangelical Churches. He is responsible for our work with teenagers: RIPZ for 11-13 year old, and Soul Purpose for 13+.
Grape7 is our Sunday School. It runs atthe same time as the morning service and is for the 3-11s
Rascals our mid-week toddler club, and Daddy-comes-too our monthly Saturday morning club are led by Sheila Pearson. Shiela is passionate about her work with these groups and with the children’s parents and carers. Sheila also runs the children’s puppet ministry.
Vine Baptist Church has a comprehensive 'Safe to Grow' protection policy in place to protect children, vulnerable adults, and workers alike. A copy can be found on the children/youth web site.
